Eligible Medical Expenses

Eligible expenses are services and treatments that are medically necessary and prevent or treat illness or disease. You can include the expenses of your spouse and eligible dependents (up to age 26), even if they are not covered under your employer’s group health plans.


The Flex Plan is a tax-savings benefit program sponsored by your employer that lets you pay for your benefits off of the top of your paycheck, before taxes are withheld.


Offering a Flex Plan saves the employer in reduced taxes up to 10% of the amounts your employees contribute to the plan and offering debit cards can increase the participation up to 40% or even 60%.
